With it being one of the most favoured personal gadgets you can have, mobile phones are on a constant revamp in the sense of looks, features and technology upgrades. They have developed into a fashion statement as well as a tool many of us feel we couldn't live without.
However this also has downside - because so many people are conscious that they need to keep their mobile phone up to date with all the latest gizmos and gadgets that there is an increasing number of "old" (and not so old!) mobile phones taking residence in the backs of cupboards and draws just gathering dust.
If you have got phones taking up space you need to check out the increasing amount of web based companies that are offering good money for your old devices - even if they are no longer working!
You will usually get considerably more if the phone has:
1) It's original battery
2) It's charger
3) Can operate as normal
4) Has minimal damage to the casing.
All you need to do is go onto one of the many websites and use the form to select you make and model and they will send out a jiffy bag with a Freeport return address and you send off your phone. They will test the phone and if it matches the necessary requirements they will send you the quoted payment that was on the website.
Depending on the age of the phone and the condition means the amount of money can vary quite a bit. Also, the websites themselves seem to value different phones at different prices, so it is worth having a look at several before sending your phone off.
Most of the companies will not be held responsible if the phone goes missing in the post, so it may be worth paying a little extra to make sure it is recorded if you are sending a valuable phone (such as an iPhone) to avoid accidents.
If you are looking for the latest mobile phone why not check out pay as you go mobile phones. Have a look online for similar mobile phone deals.
